I love painting in the North Fields! If you look close you will find a couple of bugs stuck in the paint. That just means it was definitely plein air painting. It is the most peaceful place to paint. I hope that feeling flows through my art. ~ debbie

This intaglio-type etching was inspired by koi fish swimming above the rocks. I’ve always been interested in things that attract or sometimes distract fish. The hanging pear is a symbolic attempt to represent this thought. ~ brent

fountains in spring

One of my favorite painters is John Singer Sargent. His watercolors are so exquisite and meaningful. I especially love the paintings of the fountains and buildings in Italy and France. When I saw this fountain and the setting it reminded me of Sargent. This painting was recently purchased. ~ janice
