nancy andruk olson
Nancy Andruk Olson has been an artist her entire life. She cannot say when she began painting because it is something that she has always done. Because of that, art has been an integral part of her entire life and the focus of her art is her life. Although she has used many media including, ceramics, etching, watercolor and collage, painting remains her medium of choice. Her main concern regarding her paintings is to draw from life experience and translate that into images.
Nancy received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 2000. She also received a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2002.
After finishing art school Nancy went on to become a registered nurse and to have a family. This is where she draws both inspiration and satisfaction, from living here life fully and savoring her relationships.
