I originally got the idea for this painting while watching my friend Sean fly fishing the Provo River in Provo Canyon, Utah. The sun was setting and shining up the canyon on the fall colors. It was just gorgeous. I did my best to capture the beauty of the river, the canyon, the light, and well, all of it, in paint. Sean owns the original and I decided to make an open edition of art prints a few years later. Sean says this area of the river is called, Ed’s slot, by local fishermen. Ed’s Slot is very near the turn off that goes to the Sundance Resort. Each print is signed by the artist. Enjoy!
