We had our first snow of the season. There was a surprising amount greeting us out the window at breakfast early Tuesday. As the dancer and explorer went with me to help the builder and his classmates at Soldier Hollow Charter School, we experienced a majestic moment together. Three gorgeous horses off Center Street just before Deer Creek and the railroad tracks. They were up on the berm near the barn and then simultaneously broke off in a great run together…their manes flowing behind them. Yes, it was like watching Black Beauty or Hidalgo. Tramping through the perfectly fallen snow, they raced through the field. We were ooo-ing and ah-ing and then the dancer exclaimed, the snow makes them soo happy! ~ katrina
