This elk was stretched out bugleling. It is a awesome sound to hear in the wild, there is nothing to compare it to. My husband helps me with the body configurations on the wildlife. He spends a large amount of time studying them through binoculars and spotting scopes. ~ debbie
Beautiful! I agree the elk bugle is quite majestic. One night, quite late, Ryan and I were driving the alpine loop with our babies, we were a few miles above Sundance and Ryan turned off the car and the headlights. When our eyes adjusted we could see that we were surrounded by a herd of elk and they were bugling back and forth to each other. I will never forget it.
