welcome home by marilynn z. nielson, 9×12 oil, $425 framed 

            This quiet little home actually sits right on busy Main Street, but it is a picture of tranquility with its inviting bench and chair. I began painting with clouds overhead and had to find cover for a few minutes in the rain, but then the sun came out for a short time and it was a welcome sight. ~ marilynn
